What you will do

• Conduct independent, remote case reviews to evaluate medical necessity and quality of care.
• Provide evidence-based written determinations following established clinical guidelines.
• Support utilization reviews, appeals, and hearings for military members and their families.
• Maintain clinical integrity, neutrality, and objectivity in all assessments.
• Meet turnaround deadlines for case reviews independently.

Requirements

• Must hold an active, unrestricted U.S. license/certification.
• Must be Board certified by an ABMS or AOA-recognized board.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology.
• Must be currently practicing and seeing patients at least 20 hours per week.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
