CFX Artist (Feature Animation)

Location: Hungary-based; fully remote within Hungary. Candidates must be based in Hungary or committed to relocating from within Europe. Office address: Budapest, Hungary.

What you will do

• Create simulations for objects and characters based on technical director guidelines.
• Configure gravity, material density, and other physical parameters in Maya.
• Simulate realistic clothing and hair movement for animated characters.
• Collaborate closely with animation and rigging teams.

Requirements

• User-level knowledge of Maya simulation tools.
• Simulation-focused familiarity with Marvelous Designer.
• Understanding of clothing and hair dynamics using nDynamics.
• Basic English proficiency for navigating computer software.
• Applications are considered from Junior through Lead level.
• Must be based in Hungary or committed to relocating from within Europe.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of rigging and modeling.
• 1–2 years of experience in animation, production, or a similar field.
