Facade Engineer (Architecture)

Location: Gent, Belgium. Must be able to travel to the UK for site visits without restriction.

What you will do

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical data for façade and external wall systems.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, including fire safety assessments and façade engineering notes.
• Support thermal engineering tasks such as U-value assessments and condensation risk modelling.
• Coordinate test evidence, certifications, and product data for performance verification.
• Attend site visits, design meetings, and client meetings to support senior engineers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and adhere to internal quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Façade Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Materials Science.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Basic understanding of building design and construction principles.
• Ability to travel to the UK for site visits without restriction.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical capabilities within a consultancy environment.

• Previous site experience.
