What you will do
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive company-wide QA and test strategy.
- Design and execute manual and automated UI and API tests using Playwright and Appium.
- Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI pipelines and manage QA repositories.
- Identify and implement AI tools for test generation and error classification.
- Monitor system behavior in staging and production using Datadog dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality early in the development process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in UI automation using Playwright (TypeScript) and Appium.
- Strong proficiency in API testing with ReadyAPI.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Git and GitLab.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog.
- Experience with test data management and bug tracking in JIRA/Confluence.
- Must be based in Romania and able to work in a hybrid model in Bucharest.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-powered development tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
- Background in cross-browser and mobile testing using BrowserStack.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices for build and deployment support.
