What you will do

• Design and operate core pieces of the next-generation Serverless hirify.globalsearch offering.
• Improve components supporting concurrent and consistent indexing across multiple machines.
• Maintain cluster coordination systems to ensure high performance and system safety.
• Push the limits of hirify.globalsearch scalability regarding shards, nodes, and data volume.
• Investigate and resolve complex performance, concurrency, and stability issues.
• Collaborate with support engineers to solve high-impact technical problems.

Requirements

• Deep background in distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
• Strong proficiency in core Java, data structures, and concurrency constructs.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems from the ground up.
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and debug complex systems.
• Ability to own projects from technical design to final implementation.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lucene and search analytics.
• Knowledge of asynchronous event-driven network frameworks like Netty.
