TL;DR
Product Manager / Director (Event Contracts): Building a new event contract product line from the ground up with an accent on financial mechanism design, liquidity frameworks, and market microstructure. Focus on designing complex trading systems, driving user growth, and optimizing the end-to-end user experience for crypto and macro events.
Location: Hong Kong (Must have current right to work, no visa sponsorship provided)

What you will do
- Own the full lifecycle of the Event Contract product line, from mechanism design and liquidity build-out to user growth.
- Design product specifications for Up-Down, Between (range), and Hit contracts, including strike price and settlement logic.
- Develop and manage the Market Maker incentive and obligation framework to ensure competitive spread, depth, and uptime.
- Execute user acquisition, retention, and activation strategies to scale trading volume and user count.
- Analyze internal trading data and competitor mechanisms to produce actionable product iteration plans.
- Explore innovative combinations of event contracts with structured products, social mechanics, or broker partnerships.
Requirements
- Experience building complex backend systems from 0 to 1, such as trading, payment, or e-commerce systems.
- Deep understanding of financial derivatives principles and experience with futures/options trading systems.
- Strong quantitative skills and the ability to translate business scenarios into elegant data structures and logic.
- Proven track record in product growth, leading acquisition/retention campaigns and owning business metrics.
- Ability to systematically leverage AI tools for data analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
- Must have the current right to work in Hong Kong; sponsorship is not provided.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with event contracts platforms or options product design.
- Experience designing Market Maker strategies or liquidity incentive mechanisms.
- Experience investing or trading in equities, FX, crypto derivatives, or quantitative trading.
