Member of Technical Staff, Trading (Derivatives) (Go): Implementing front office and back office trading systems for institutional cryptocurrency investors with an accent on system design, low-latency architecture, and scalability. Location: Remote (United States). Mandatory in-person onboarding process required for all new hires - no exceptions.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain institutional trading systems for front and back office operations.
• Influence the technical direction of the Brokerage team and advocate for process or technology improvements.
• Analyze complex, ambiguous problems to formulate elegant and practical technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews to ensure consistency, reduce errors, and share context across the engineering team.
• Drive iterative system improvement by implementing robust instrumentation and metric collection.
• Mentor multiple engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve strategic goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Go.
• Proficiency with MySQL or PostgreSQL, Git, and modern software development practices.
• Real-world experience building financial trading systems.
• Knowledge of trading domains such as OEMS, FIX protocol, derivatives, and risk management.
• Strong commitment to software engineering design patterns (TDD, SOLID, refactoring).
• Must be able to complete a mandatory in-person onboarding process.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC API design and implementation.
• Professional background in the finance industry.
• Experience working specifically with digital asset (cryptocurrency) trading.
