C++ Software Engineer (macOS)

Location: Hybrid in Brno, Czech Republic

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications for macOS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional software development experience with proficiency in C++.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with multi-thread programming.
• English proficiency at least at B1 level.
• General awareness of computer security.
• Note: This position is a maternity leave cover.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Perl, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Cocoa, SwiftUI, or Combine libraries.
• User-level knowledge of macOS, Linux, or Unix operating systems.
• Theoretical understanding of Unix-based operating systems.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.
