Legal Counsel (Gaming)

Legal Counsel (Gaming/IT): Providing generalist legal support and ownership of compliance for product and business teams with an accent on data protection, IP, and commercial agreements. Focus on navigating app store policies, drafting complex tech-transactional contracts, and ensuring GDPR compliance across international jurisdictions.

Location: Must be based in the Cyprus office

What you will do

• Provide business-oriented legal advice to product, monetization, marketing, and HR teams.
• Own GDPR and data protection compliance, including liaison with DPOs/regulators and policy updates.
• Draft and maintain EULAs, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policies.
• Negotiate and draft commercial and tech-transactional agreements, including publishing and ad monetization.
• Handle IP matters, trademarks, and copyright infringement enforcement.
• Advise on Apple App Store and Google Play policies and platform-specific compliance risks.

Requirements

• Law degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in tech, gaming, or digital media.
• Strong background in commercial/tech transactions, data protection, and IP.
• Fluent English.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent matters independently.
