Technical Artist (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Technical Artist (Gamedev): Building and scaling a high-quality in-house creative pipeline for playable ads with an accent on scene assembly, animation integration, and asset optimization. Focus on balancing visual quality with strict performance and build size limitations in game engines.

Location: Remote or hybrid in Cyprus, Armenia, or Kazakhstan. Relocation support is available for these locations.

What you will do

• Assemble and polish playable scenes using Cocos Creator.
• Integrate and configure animations, visual effects, and transitions.
• Optimize assets, scenes, and effects to meet strict build size and performance requirements.
• Create and modify VFX and shaders for creatives and internal tools.
• Collaborate with UA managers, creative producers, artists, and developers to improve production pipelines.

Requirements

• Experience with Cocos Creator, Unity, or similar game engines.
• Hands-on experience with scene assembly, animations, and particle systems.
• Understanding of shaders and rendering principles.
• Experience optimizing assets and improving performance in production environments.
• Proficiency with Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cocos Creator in commercial projects.
• Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL) and Spine.
• Artistic background or experience creating visual assets.
• Experience using AI tools in creative or production workflows.
