What you will do

• Develop visual concepts for animated projects, including characters, environments, and moods.
• Design characters from exploration sketches to turnarounds and expression sheets.
• Create background art to define the world, lighting, and atmosphere.
• Build style frames to set the overall artistic direction for the team.
• Collaborate and iterate quickly with the creative director and animation team.
• Experiment with AI-assisted workflows to improve speed and quality.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio in character design and/or environment art for animation.
• Solid foundation in composition, color, lighting, and anatomy.
• Flexibility across various visual styles.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of animation pipelines.
• Curiosity and openness to using generative AI tools.
