What you will do

• Act as the technical bridge between Credit Karma's decision-science platform and partner banks/fintech lenders.
• Design, build, and optimize large-scale targeting and approval models to grow conversion and revenue.
• Advance the partner modeling toolkit using feature engineering, modern ML methods, and GenAI applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, engineering, and product teams to productionize models.
• Manage relationships with partner data science and risk teams, providing coaching on platform capabilities.
• Identify high-impact opportunities across the partner portfolio and drive them to measurable results.

Requirements

• MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in credit-risk analytics, data science, or risk management at a bank, fintech, or credit bureau.
• Deep understanding of credit data, including bureau attributes and risk scores.
• Expert proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with modern ML frameworks and large-scale data warehouses like BigQuery.
• Strong ability to communicate complex modeling concepts to non-technical and executive stakeholders.
