TL;DR
Tech Support Engineer (UAV): Providing technical assistance for UAV payload integrations and software with an accent on client communication and issue resolution. Focus on troubleshooting drone operations, analyzing log files, and improving technical documentation.
Location: Hybrid (Latvia, Baloži). Availability to work evening shifts from 18:00 to 00:00 (Riga time) is required.

What you will do
- Provide technical support for products via Jira Service Desk, email, and phone.
- Act as the primary link between customers and the technical team to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Continuously improve the support experience for software users.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create articles, FAQs, how-to content, and videos.
- Develop and refine training materials, user manuals, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Availability to work evening shifts from 18:00 to 00:00 (Riga time).
- Understanding of UAV flight principles, basic drone operations, and mission planning concepts.
- Knowledge of GNSS/GPS basics and navigation fundamentals.
- Proficiency in technical troubleshooting methodology and log file analysis.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to have
- Knowledge of geophysical survey methods (GPR, magnetometry, bathymetry, gravimetry).
- GIS fundamentals, coordinate systems, and geospatial data formats (KML, shapefiles, GeoTIFF).
- Basics of photogrammetry or remote sensing.
- Background in geography, geology, or surveying.
- UAV pilot certification and experience with professional survey equipment.
