What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build integrations between AI-powered document extraction tools and downstream enterprise systems.
• Design event-driven workflows using message streaming technologies.
• Implement monitoring, status tracking, and processing logic for long-running operations.
• Collaborate with product owners and distributed engineering teams across Europe and North America.
• Improve existing platform architecture and reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python backend development experience.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and distributed backend services.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production environments independently.
• Must be based in Poland, Serbia, Portugal, Cyprus, or Spain.
