What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services and shared libraries for the payment gateway.
• Develop scalable microservices using C# and .NET 9 with gRPC/REST APIs.
• Implement resilient message-driven patterns like Transactional Outbox, sagas, and idempotent consumers.
• Manage data flows using PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka for asynchronous transaction processing.
• Enhance system observability and reliability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Mentor team members and drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience with C# and ASP.NET.
• Proven experience building distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.
• Deep understanding of microservice design patterns and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message brokers like Kafka.
• Experience with AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong grasp of engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, or high-reliability transactional domains.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Experience running services on AWS (EKS, RDS, MSK).
• Familiarity with .NET Aspire and OpenTelemetry.
