C++ Software Engineer - NAS Group

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain NAS software components, including file-system management.
• Implement and optimize NFSv3/4, SMB/CIFS, and S3 file-sharing protocols.
• Troubleshoot performance, data-integrity, and reliability issues in clustered environments.
• Collaborate with QA, product management, and R&D groups covering core systems, UI/CLI, management APIs, and platform hardware.
• Write tested, maintainable C++ code, participate in code reviews, and improve quality through Python test suites, coverage, static analysis, and memory-leak detection.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and improve scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and performance under high I/O and concurrent access.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of C++ development experience.
• BSc, BA, or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to understand and work with a large existing codebase.
• Team-oriented approach, leadership skills, motivation, and strong self-learning abilities.
• Experience in server-side or performance-oriented development, networking and TCP/IP, or Python is preferred.
