What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for NAS, including file system management.
• Implement and optimize network file-sharing protocols such as NFSv3/4, SMB/CIFS, and S3.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues regarding performance, data integrity, and reliability in clustered environments.
• Collaborate with QA, PM, and other R&D groups (Core, UI/CLI, mgmt API, platform/HW).
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and quality improvements.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions concerning scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of professional experience in coding with C++.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and understand a large, complex existing code-base.
• Strong motivation and self-learning abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in server-side and performance-oriented development.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and networking protocols.
• Experience with Python.
