What you will do

• Design and develop interface and control software for various sub-systems of reticle inspection platforms.
• Execute integration and testing of software sub-systems on physical tools in close coordination with the California-based team.
• Perform software issue investigation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting within a cleanroom environment.
• Develop complex firmware modules for machine control using C/C++ on Linux and RTOS (e.g., VxWorks).
• Implement communication with motion controllers via Ethernet, Serial-RS232, and USB interfaces.
• Define and execute test plans to measure subsystem performance and document technical results.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Control Systems, or similar fields.
• 4+ years of industrial experience in embedded and controls software development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Object-Oriented Design & Programming (OOD & OOP).
• Knowledge of Linux/RTOS environments, multi-threading, synchronization, and software architecture.
• Experience with communication protocols: Serial-RS232, Ethernet/EtherCAT, and TCP-IP socket programming.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for multi-component systems involving software, hardware, and optics.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor fab operations or manufacturing technology.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with motion control systems (Stepper/Servo/Piezo) and control theory (e.g., PID).
• Linux administration and UML knowledge.
