QA Engineer (.Net)

TL;DR

QA Engineer (.Net): Developing and implementing automated test strategies for microservices and API integrations with an accent on BDD frameworks and E2E testing. Focus on ensuring system reliability using Kafka, MongoDB, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in Lisbon). Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese/EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Design and execute end-to-end test strategies within Agile environments.
• Automate API and integration tests using REST and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, Karate, and SpecFlow.
• Develop UI automation and implement contract testing for microservices.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for environment management and testing.
• Work with Kafka and MongoDB to ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Monitor system observability using tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Proficiency in API automation, BDD frameworks, and at least one UI automation tool.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MongoDB.
• English: B2 level required.
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese/EU citizenship or a valid work permit.
• Availability for hybrid work (2 days per week in Lisbon).

Nice to have

• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET.
• Experience with contract testing (Pact) or Testcontainers.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, Cypress, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or Xray.
