Salary: $35 - $45 per hour (for US-based candidates).

What you will do

• Provide labels, annotations, and recordings for multilingual audio projects using proprietary software.
• Ensure high-quality curated audio data with accurate linguistic and prosodic details, such as intonation and rhythm.
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve AI's handling of speech modulation, accent variation, and real-world noise.
• Assist in the improvement of internal annotation tools for more efficient audio workflows.

Requirements

• Native proficiency in Tajik with exposure to diverse accents and dialects.
• English proficiency (minimum B2 level) with clear, natural vocal delivery.
• Strong auditory perception to identify nuances in speech, pronunciation, and audio quality.
• Proven ability to transcribe audio with high accuracy across varying qualities and accents.
• Ability to make independent judgments on ambiguous audio material.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics (phonetics, phonology), speech sciences, or cognitive science.
• Experience working with speech/audio datasets and AI training data workflows.
• Professional experience in voice acting, podcasting, or audio production.
• Portfolio of voice samples or annotated transcripts.
