Service Delivery Manager (Food Processing)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; regular travel within the Netherlands is required for approximately 50% of the role.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop approximately 10–12 Field Service Engineers, including remote employees.
• Manage the delivery of maintenance, upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting services.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery while supporting customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with customers, planners, account managers, and technical specialists on service improvements.
• Optimize resource utilization, competence development, performance, utilization, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and HR processes.

Requirements

• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Technical or engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in service operations, field service management, or technical customer support.
• Experience leading and developing teams, including remote employees.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, customer focus, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
