What you will do

• Define and lead technical strategy for AI and ML systems powering recommendations and personalization.
• Design and deploy production-grade models using PyTorch and foundational LLMs.
• Architect end-to-end ML pipelines integrating Spark and Airflow for high-traffic environments.
• Drive experimentation frameworks including A/B testing and offline evaluation.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to translate business challenges into ML solutions.
• Mentor senior individual contributors and champion responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• 10–15 years of experience in building and deploying large-scale ML systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Expertise in prompting, fine-tuning LLMs, and building production AI agents.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines using Spark or Airflow.
• Proven ability to influence technical strategy and mentor others in complex organizations.
