What you will do

• Architect and maintain a modular full-stack application serving as the core internal platform.
• Lead technical strategy, including language and infrastructure selection for performance and scalability.
• Design and implement granular RBAC systems to secure sensitive PII data.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment guardrails.
• Mentor and pair with junior engineers to foster technical growth and code quality.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business needs into technical specifications and rapid prototypes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in building and deploying scalable full-stack applications.
• Startup-native mindset with experience building from zero to one.
• Proven leadership in mentoring or supervising junior/mid-level engineers.
• Security fundamentals including OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC implementation.
• Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL database architectures.
• Proficiency in modern backend (Node.js/TypeScript or Python/FastAPI) and frontend (React/Next.js) frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with ATS/HRIS integrations like Greenhouse, HiBob, or Jira.
• Knowledge of LLM/AI API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Search engine implementation experience (Elasticsearch, Algolia, pgvector).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).
