What you will do

• Position, align, fit, and weld metal parts using jigs, hand tools, and welding torches.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine project sequences and requirements.
• Mark work pieces for cutting and bending, accounting for material thickness and machine shrinkage.
• Provide technical instructions and documentation for component construction and maintenance.
• Perform all tasks in strict accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D certificate.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Experience in stick welding, oxygen/acetylene torch use, and MIG/TIG welding.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and working in close quarters.
• Knowledge of metal properties, welding fluxes, and rods.
• Must be available for onsite work in McKinney, Texas.

• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience working with machine components.
