TL;DR
Senior Professional Services Consulting Engineer (Redis): Designing and delivering customized data service solutions for enterprise customers with an accent on high-availability distributed systems and Redis integration. Focus on solving complex technical challenges, implementing end-to-end solutions, and guiding customers through production deployments.
Location: Must be based in Italy (Flexible: working from office or home)
Salary: €80,000 – €110,000

What you will do
- Develop deep technical expertise in Redis, Redis Enterprise, and Redis Modules to serve as a subject matter expert.
- Design and deliver customized Redis-powered solutions to meet specific business and technology requirements.
- Provide hands-on technical implementation and end-to-end testing within customer environments.
- Support Redis development projects using programming languages such as Java, MS.NET C#, Python, and Go.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams (Architects, Developers, C-level) to ensure successful production deployments.
- Deliver remote and onsite product training to customers in a professional manner.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in post-sales consulting, ideally in database engineering for enterprise software.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, RESTful APIs, and client library/server-side code development.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- English: Excellent written and spoken proficiency required.
- Location: Must be based in Italy.
- Travel: Availability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Nice to have
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
