Senior Professional Services Consulting Engineer (Redis)

Location: Italy; flexible work from the office or home, with travel of up to 40% when conditions permit.

Salary: €80,000–€110,000 per year, plus eligibility for sales commission.

What you will do

• Build technical expertise in Redis, Redis Enterprise, and Redis Modules and act as a customer-facing subject-matter expert.
• Consult with enterprise customers to design Redis-powered solutions aligned with their technology and business requirements.
• Deliver hands-on implementation services and perform end-to-end testing in customer development, QA, and production environments.
• Support Redis development projects using Java, Microsoft .NET C#, Python, and Go.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, PMOs, C-level stakeholders, Sales, Product Management, and R&D to support successful deployments and account growth.
• Deliver remote and onsite product training and use customer feedback to improve technical materials and products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in post-sales consulting for enterprise software, ideally in database engineering.
• Hands-on experience with client libraries, server-side development, RESTful APIs, and Linux.
• Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Strong technical, communication, teamwork, and time-management skills; willingness to travel up to 40% when conditions permit.
