TL;DR

Location: Remote (CET time zone alignment required)
Compensation: €5,600–€6,100 gross

What you will do
- Own the Billing product area roadmap, quarterly goals, and success metrics.
- Partner with Engineering to deliver resilient billing systems, including idempotency, retries, and incident response.
- Improve revenue protection and customer experience through failed payment recovery and dispute management.
- Define and maintain billing domain documentation, including data models and operational run-books.
- Conduct discovery with internal teams and customers to identify pain points and translate them into PRDs.
- Drive antifraud strategy by defining priorities and monitoring capabilities in partnership with Data and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of product management experience with at least 1–2 years in a technically complex domain.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, payouts, fee models, and chargebacks.
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineers on backend system design and trade-offs.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, metric definition, and measurement planning.
- English fluency (C1) required for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong written communication and structured thinking skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with payment processors like Stripe or PayPal.
- Background in B2B SaaS pricing or self-serve account management.
- Familiarity with billing-related compliance requirements (SOX, SOC2).
- Experience reducing support contacts through product and tooling improvements.
