What you will do

• Lead end-to-end tax operations across seven LATAM jurisdictions, including corporate income, indirect, and withholding taxes.
• Act as the primary tax advisor for Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations on new products and cross-border transactions.
• Own the regional transfer pricing framework, documentation, and intercompany transaction planning.
• Direct all regional tax audits and disputes, developing technical defense files for local authorities.
• Manage and develop a regional team, including a Tax Team Leader in Colombia and Tax Managers in Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
• Drive tax process improvements and automation to enhance operational excellence across the region.

Requirements

• Must be based in Bogotá, Colombia for a hybrid work model.
• 8–10 years of professional tax experience leading teams in regional or multinational environments.
• Deep practical expertise in Colombian tax laws and familiarity with tax frameworks in Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
• Fully fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Law, Economics, or Business.

Nice to have

• Licensed tax lawyer qualification or a Master’s degree in Taxation.
• Prior experience within the FinTech, payments, or financial services sectors.
• Combined background of Big Four consulting and in-house tax roles in high-growth companies.
