Senior DevOps Engineer (Web3/AI): Deploying and maintaining mission-critical blockchain validator infrastructure with an accent on automation, observability, and security. Location: 100% remote-first global presence. Optional co-working spaces available in Toronto, New York, London, and Singapore.
Salary: CAD $170,000–$190,000 / USD $170,000–$190,000

What you will do
- Deploy and maintain blockchain validator nodes using Ansible and Terraform to ensure maximum uptime.
- Develop and extend agentic AI workflows to automate operational patterns and drive infrastructure efficiency.
- Onboard new protocols and staking infrastructure for institutional customers.
- Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability across hybrid infrastructure (bare-metal and cloud).
- Collaborate with security teams to deploy secure CI/CD builds and improve release pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support 50+ production blockchain staking environments.
Requirements
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Experience building AI-augmented operational workflows and agentic tooling.
- Strong Linux systems administration expertise (systemd, networking, bare-metal).
- Proficiency in shell scripting, Python or Go, and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
- Proven success managing hybrid environments at scale.
- Deep knowledge of monitoring platforms such as Datadog and PagerDuty.
Nice to have
- Experience with blockchain validator operations (Solana, Ethereum, Cardano, Cosmos SDK).
- Kubernetes or container orchestration experience.
- Cloud-native expertise in AWS or GCP, including Nitro Enclaves.
- Security engineering or systems hardening background.
- Depth in P2P networking topology.
