Salary: $85,389 - $116,975

What you will do

• Build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and NodeJS to retrieve and transform healthcare records.
• Integrate with internal platform APIs, EDI processing pipelines, and AWS data services.
• Develop and maintain Angular-based frontend components to surface data to business and clinical users.
• Collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery.
• Perform unit and integration testing across backend services and API layers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required; must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.
• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong backend focus in Java and/or NodeJS.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs for structured EDI or healthcare data (XML, JSON).
• Hands-on experience with Angular for API integration and component development.
• Experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Nice to have

• Experience with X.12 medical claims (837, 834, 277, etc.).
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG 2.1).
• Experience with containerization using Docker, ECS, or EKS.
• Familiarity with C#/.Net backend services.
