What you will do
- Implement in-game UI features including screens, widgets, logic, and data flows.
- Bridge creative vision with technical execution to deliver polished AAA-quality features.
- Rapidly prototype UI concepts from ideation through implementation to test and iterate independently.
- Collaborate with engineers, scripters, artists, and directors to refine features throughout the production cycle.
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles to ensure player experiences are usable by all.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in AA or AAA game development.
- Proven track record of shipping at least one feature or UI component in a released game.
- Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, including typography, layout, motion, and visual fidelity.
- Experience working within game engines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with UI systems such as UMG, Unity UI, Flash, ImGui, WPF, or Qt.
- Experience working with proprietary tech stacks or influencing UI frameworks in large-scale projects.
