What you will do

  • Develop core robotic technologies for cooperative and non-cooperative capture, docking, inspection, refuelling, repair, and assembly.
  • Lead the creation of robotic products through specification, design, prototyping, validation, and testing in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Manage mechanical and thermal interfaces and establish precise mechanical drawings.
  • Prepare and execute functional performance and environmental tests, documenting all design and test activities.
  • Support the development of world-class robotics simulation and testing capabilities and facilities.
  • Interface with institutional (ESA, LSA) and commercial customers, as well as subcontractors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanisms engineering specifically within the space industry.
  • Experience across the full engineering lifecycle, including system definition, design, build, test, and on-orbit operations.
  • Proven track record in subcontractor management.
  • Experience interacting with institutional customers such as ESA and LSA.
  • BSc/MSc degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a similar engineering field.
