Senior Data Designer (Data Warehouse)

What you will do

• Design and document enterprise data warehouse objects, including dimensional models, source-to-target mappings, model diagrams, and implementation documentation.
• Work with business stakeholders and source-system subject matter experts to onboard data sources and adapt designs to source capabilities.
• Clarify business intent and requirements before designing solutions.
• Profile and analyze source data, define data quality rules, and validate design assumptions.
• Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and propose design-level fixes.
• Participate in peer and design reviews while keeping stakeholders informed and unblocked.

Requirements

• Strong practical experience with dimensional modeling and designing warehouse models from raw source data.
• Hands-on experience creating source-to-target mapping documentation.
• Understanding of data platform layering and data load approaches.
• Confident SQL skills for data profiling and validation.
• Strong written and spoken English, including requirements gathering and stakeholder expectation management.
• Attention to detail and experience working with design reviews, governance standards, and data privacy or PII classification requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP as a source system.
• Retail domain experience.
• Agile delivery experience.
