TL;DR
Hardware Engineer (SATCOM): Designing and developing complex electronic hardware for advanced satellite communication systems with an accent on digital and analog circuit design and PCB development. Focus on full product lifecycle management, from concept and prototyping to mass production, while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid work

What you will do

  • Design and develop digital and analog electronic circuits for satellite communication equipment.
  • Design, review, and debug multilayer PCBs using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Select components, perform circuit simulations, and analyze performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop and execute hardware validation, verification, and qualification test plans.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues throughout development, integration, and production.
  • Collaborate with RF, mechanical, systems, embedded software, and production engineering teams across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep experience in hardware design and development, including analog and digital circuit design.
  • Knowledge of PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or similar CAD software.
  • Hands-on engineering approach, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
  • Good spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with RF, microwave, wireless, or satellite communication systems.
  • Experience with antenna-related hardware.
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces.
