TL;DR
Backend Software Engineer (.NET): Developing and optimizing a high-performance, multi-brand Sportsbook platform with an accent on microservices architecture, high throughput, and availability. Focus on implementing distributed systems, managing SQL/NoSQL data models, and ensuring technical excellence for a global iGaming product.
Location: Hybrid (Malta) - 3 days in office (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 2 days from home.

A global iGaming company operating a world-class, in-house developed Sportsbook platform serving over 20 brands worldwide.
What you will do
- Develop and design new features for a high-throughput multi-brand betting platform.
- Implement and maintain a complex microservice environment using .NET Core and C#.
- Manage SQL and NoSQL data models and optimize database performance.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability and high availability.
- Collaborate within cross-functional agile teams including architects, QAs, and UX specialists.
- Analyze existing systems to improve architecture and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Proficiency in .NET/C# and .NET Core.
- Experience with microservice architecture and WebAPI.
- Knowledge of message queue systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ServiceBus.
- Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Must be based in or be able to work from Malta to comply with the hybrid office requirement.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing multi-tier distributed systems.
