What you will do
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for design decisions and assist the product owner on technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data products, pipelines, and models feeding reporting tools and data marts.
- Collaborate with the platform team on security and optimization of data products.
- Build and automate data quality checks for monitoring and validation measures.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and various AWS services (CloudWatch, Lambda, DMS, AppFlow, etc.).
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS services, specifically Glue and Redshift.
- Hands-on expertise in Redshift schema design, query performance, and data modeling for analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Proven experience developing, testing, and debugging production-grade code.
- Experience with CI/CD via GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache Iceberg.
- Experience with Microstrategy.
