Junior Software Engineer (Embedded)

TL;DR

Junior Software Engineer (Embedded/C++): Developing and designing software components for UAS/UAV systems and Manned–Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) with an accent on embedded systems and real-time architecture. Focus on implementing software for unmanned aerial system operations, conducting comprehensive V&V testing, and optimizing flight test campaigns.

Location: Hybrid (Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain). Relocation package available.

What you will do

• Design and architect software components for Remote Carriers and Manned–Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T).
• Develop and integrate software for deployment in unmanned aerial system (UAS) operations.
• Conduct unit, software component, and system-level testing.
• Participate in flight test campaign activities and verification and validation (V&V) tasks.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Practical experience in software development and embedded software development.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design principles.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of real-time systems (RTOS, partitioning, etc.).
• Experience with software Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
