What you will do

• Develop next-generation discrete ESD and TVS protection devices for high-speed and automotive applications.
• Drive technical work packages across device design, simulation, packaging, and product qualification.
• Act as a system architect to define technical concepts and ensure product performance.
• Translate customer and roadmap requirements into technical specifications for front-end and back-end technology.
• Perform semiconductor, EM, and SPICE simulations, including SEED-based system-level ESD analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for protection and signal integrity.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or RF Engineering.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, industrial technologies, and product development processes.
• Hands-on experience with TCAD tools and SPICE modeling.
• Knowledge of S-parameters, high-speed applications, and RF/signal-integrity behavior.
• Proficiency in Python and interest in applying AI-based methods to engineering workflows.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are considered a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEED methodology and CST or comparable electromagnetic simulation tools.
• Knowledge of common-mode filters, chokes, integrated coils, or passive RF filters.
• Relevant professional experience in ESD/TVS protection, EMC, or simulation.
