Project Engineer (Data Center)

What you will do

• Manage project delivery to ensure completion on time, within budget, and to acceptable quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and control appointed M&E sub-contractors during project implementation.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding equipment delivery and testing and commissioning plans.
• Perform site rounds and joint safety and quality audit checks for appointed vendors.
• Prepare technical project documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), network diagrams, and commissioning workbooks.
• Provide weekly progress reports and dashboard updates to the management team.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Power Engineering (2-5 years experience) or a Diploma in the same (5-10 years experience).
• Strong background in PLC systems or site M&E experience, preferably within a Data Center environment.
• Proven experience in budgeting, planning, and resource management in cross-functional environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time to support project commissioning.
• Legal authorization to work in the required location.

Nice to have

• PMP Certification.
• Experience in Construction Engineering or Manufacturing environments.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Experience with SQL Databases.
