What you will do

• Design and oversee the architecture of secure, multi-tenant hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with platform and operations teams to automate development and operational workflows.
• Analyze mission needs and gaps to align technical capabilities with stakeholder requirements.
• Develop hybrid cloud delivery strategies and manage the adaptation process.
• Create technical documentation including system specifications, IaC baselines, and deployment guides.
• Monitor emerging technologies and regulatory advancements to drive IT improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Sterling, VA
• TS/SCI Polygraph clearance required
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, networking, and virtualization.
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven ability to design and implement highly available and scalable solutions.
• Experience with cloud migration and deployment strategies.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Knowledge of Python or Java for cloud automation.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or CISSP.
