What you will do

• Analyze player behavior across the entire lifecycle, including onboarding, retention, and monetization.
• Maintain and optimize AWS-based ETL pipelines using S3, Athena, and DBT.
• Translate ambiguous product questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to architect tracking plans and define data telemetry.
• Design and analyze A/B tests to validate product changes and feature experiments.
• Use AI development tools to automate workflows and accelerate SQL/Python scripting.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Must be a resident of British Columbia.
• 1-3 years of experience in product analytics, data science, or analytics engineering.
• Strong SQL skills, including window functions and DDL statements.
• Experience with cloud analytics environments like AWS Athena, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python for data validation, scripting, or automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with free-to-play mobile game analytics.
• Familiarity with BI tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with Git and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of lakehouse tools like Apache Iceberg.
