Cloud Architect (GCP) (GCP/cloud infrastructure): Designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable GCP infrastructure across development, QA, and production environments with an accent on cloud architecture, Terraform, security, and operational reliability. Focus on optimizing CI/CD workflows, guiding cloud implementation strategies, and improving automation and performance.
Location: San Salvador, El Salvador

What you will do
- Propose and implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, governance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write and maintain Terraform configurations for GCP infrastructure as code.
- Design and maintain infrastructure, network, topology, and service diagrams across development, QA, and production environments.
- Support and optimize CI/CD processes and deployment workflows.
- Guide engineering teams on cloud implementation strategies, infrastructure, DevOps practices, and operational excellence.
- Own assigned cloud environments and improve their stability, security, performance, automation, and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on GCP architecture and solutions.
- Broad knowledge of GCP infrastructure and cloud architecture best practices.
- Experience acting as a technical advisor or architect and validating cloud solutions.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and best practices.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
