What you will do

• Implement and administer CI/CD pipelines for ETL and data platform deliverables using CloudFormation and GitHub.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and Immutable Architecture principles across all environments.
• Integrate security gates, including static code analysis and container analysis, aligned with OWASP ASVS 4.0.
• Automate orchestration of data retrieval and ingestion jobs using MWAA, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Support release management, including Change Request documentation, rollback procedures, and project closeout.
• Ensure system reliability and compliance with ATO, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 through monitoring and alerting.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust security clearance.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or a related role.
• Proficiency with Python and Linux/Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience administering and securing AWS cloud environments (Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, EMR, MWAA, etc.).
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub in federal or regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (or 4 additional years of related experience).

Nice to have

• Experience supporting federal ATO/SDLC processes and FedRAMP-authorized AWS offerings.
• Experience with big data platforms such as Spark, EMR, and Iceberg.
• Proficiency using AI and generative AI tools for code generation, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Privacy Act of 1974.
