What you will do

• Support radar pre-development regarding algorithms, signal processing, and data evaluation.
• Configure hardware toolchains to interface radar MMIC with the NVIDIA Orin platform.
• Develop low-level firmware in C/C++ for MMIC initialization and timing control.
• Implement precise timing synchronization between MMIC and the Orin processing pipeline.
• Set up software toolchains for data acquisition and real-time streaming.
• Develop and test signal processing pipelines to generate radar detections from raw ADC data.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Must be available for at least 6 months starting August 2026.
• Must be based in Lindau, Germany for the duration of the internship.
• Basic knowledge of radar and embedded design.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
• English: C1 level required (written and spoken).
• Non-EU citizens must provide a valid residence and work permit.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the field of radar, RF, or antennas.
• Experience in IT project development.
