TL;DR
QA Engineer (Python): Developing and executing automated and manual test strategies for advanced energy applications supporting electrical power networks with an accent on CI/CD integration and laboratory validation. Focus on building scalable test automation frameworks in Python and ensuring product reliability for global energy transition solutions.
Location: Hybrid from Kraków (1-2 days per week from the office)
Salary: 500-800 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do
- Plan and execute software testing strategies based on business and functional requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases using Python.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.
- Validate real-life scenarios using laboratory equipment and manage reporting through Zephyr Scale.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Mentor team members and drive continuous improvements in QA processes and standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience with test automation in Python.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Git for version control.
- English: B2 level or higher required
- Location: Must be able to work hybrid from Kraków, Poland
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Power Systems and industrial communication protocols (OPC, MODBUS, etc.).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and BDD testing approaches (Gherkin).
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience in performance, security, or compliance testing.
