What you will do
- Troubleshoot customer complaints regarding registration, voice, data, and SMS connectivity.
- Analyze network faults using diagnostic tools, monitoring platforms, and protocol traces.
- Learn and support telecom signaling flows including SS7, MAP, ISUP, SIP, CAP, and DIAMETER.
- Escalate high-impact issues to senior engineers and vendors with accurate context.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Contribute to root cause analysis by collecting evidence and logs.
Requirements
- Degree in progress or recently completed in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or Network Engineering.
- Basic understanding of mobile networks, IP networking, or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols and tools like Wireshark.
- English: Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Location: Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Nice to have
- Previous internship or project exposure to telecom and systems operations.
- Knowledge of mobile core, RAN, IoT, M2M, eSIM, or roaming environments.
- Experience with ticketing systems like Jira or Salesforce.
- Understanding of service KPIs and SLAs.
