Senior Operations & Application Support Engineer (IT Operations)

What you will do

• Lead the resolution of major incidents and complex production issues, ensuring timely service restoration and stakeholder communication.
• Conduct root cause analyses and post-incident reviews to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Define and improve monitoring, observability, and operational support strategies to enhance reliability.
• Drive proactive maintenance, capacity planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps, Architecture, and Database Administration teams to validate deployment and rollback strategies.
• Implement automation and operational efficiency through scripting and tooling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise IT operations, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Deep knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, and Capacity Management).
• Extensive experience with Linux/Unix environments, containerized platforms, and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Strong expertise in observability, logging, and operational analytics tools.
• English: C1 (Excellent) required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French.
• Certifications such as ITIL Intermediate/Managing Professional, advanced Linux, Cloud platform, or Kubernetes.
