TL;DR
Data Operations Analyst (SQL/BI): Building and optimizing data extraction processes for e-commerce data across 40+ countries with an accent on RegEx, SQL validation, and data quality. Focus on troubleshooting data anomalies and improving operational workflows to ensure high-quality consumer insights.
Location: Hybrid in Sofia, Bulgaria (3 days remote, 2 days office)
Salary: EUR 1,450 - 1,650 per month

What you will do
- Build and debug data extractors using proprietary markup language and RegEx.
- Perform comprehensive data quality checks using SQL and BI tools to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Investigate transactional data anomalies and build analytical dashboards for large-scale analysis.
- Collaborate with tech and client-facing teams to adapt extraction logic to changing business needs.
- Identify automation opportunities and improve operational workflows and documentation.
Requirements
- Initial experience (internships or projects) in data operations, analytics, or tech-related roles.
- Basic SQL skills, including the ability to write queries and understand table structures.
- Fluency in English.
- Logical, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria for the hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, HTML, XML, or other scripting languages.
- Previous experience in QA or data validation.
- Knowledge of e-commerce data and industry trends.
- Experience working in agile environments.
