What you will do

• Design and implement large-scale distributed systems to handle substantial data volumes with low latency and fault tolerance.
• Develop and optimize APIs and event-driven solutions to enhance platform functionality.
• Build robust user interfaces using React for a leading e-commerce marketplace.
• Create and execute comprehensive unit, API, regression, and performance tests to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production incidents and minimize system downtime.
• Optimize overall architecture for maximum scalability and high performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java.
• Solid hands-on experience with React.
• Extensive experience building multi-tier web applications and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) level required.
• Location: Must be based in Latin America.
