What you will do

• Manage and support core AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, and networking components.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Deploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECS.
• Automate operational processes using Python and Shell scripting.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability, incident response, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Commercial experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong experience with core AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, ECS).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Scripting skills in Python or Shell and Linux administration experience.

Nice to have

• Terraform experience.
• AWS Lambda and serverless architecture knowledge.
• Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Background in regulated environments like Financial Services or Insurance.
