What you will do
- Analyze transaction structures to identify counterparties and conduct risk analysis focused on AML and financial crime.
- Review complex entity ownership and control structures, including fund vehicles, SPVs, partnerships, and trusts.
- Coordinate the gathering of necessary documentation for KYC reviews with deal teams, legal, and counterparties.
- Ensure transactions adhere to AML/CTF regulations, internal policies, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with clients' legal and compliance teams to resolve issues early and avoid closing delays.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of experience in a legal sector role, internship, or graduate position.
- Working knowledge of legal administration, document review, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical mindset with a methodical approach to complex structures.
- Precise and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with fund structures and offshore jurisdictions such as Cayman or Luxembourg.
- Experience with KYC screening tools like WorldCheck, Refinitiv, or RDC.
- ICA or ACAMS certification.
