What you will do

• Define, plan, and execute environmental test campaigns for holistic system qualification.
• Monitor and evaluate system behavior under extreme conditions, considering mechanical, electrical, EMC, and high-voltage aspects.
• Manage the selection and technical supervision of external test labs and operate in-house testing capabilities.
• Utilize data acquisition systems (DAQ) and specialized software for precise documentation and fault analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D to conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for hardware or PCB failures to drive design iterations.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Deep knowledge of military standards such as AECTP 200/400/600, MIL-STD-810, or MIL-STD-461, or experience in holistic automotive testing.
• Solid understanding of vibration, shock, thermal cycling, and humidity.
• Knowledge of circuit designs and PCBs at the system level.
• Practical experience with safe handling of high-voltage (HV) systems.
• Foundational understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) in military systems.

Nice to have

• Proven experience within the defense industry or military environment.
• Start-up mentality with a hands-on approach to using tools like oscilloscopes and wrenches in an agile environment.
